Building Bridges
By Ray Adair • Mar 10th, 2008 • Category: Center for Social Justice
The 9th Grade Center for Social Justice sent about 40 students and 8 staff to the Building Bridges camps in October and November. The California Coalition for Equality and Justice (CCEJ) conducts these camps to build awareness of the issues that separate people and the common strengths that can build bridges that can bind them. CCEJ sponsored workshops in March to prepare adult staff and youth leaders to help in future Social Justice camps tentatively scheduled for April. Check the school calendar for updates and plans are finalized.
