Summer Employment

By • Jul 9th, 2008 • Category: College & Career Center, Lincoln High School

Hello students and parents,

Summer break is here and all work permits must be taken to the South Metro Career Center for approval. Students are not required to have a 2.0 G.P.A. to get a work permit during summer break. And please note that most summer employment is for students 16 and older, however, companies like Picnic People offer summer employment for students 15 and older.

The Career Center will be open until 6/25 for students to take a look at the latest summer employment opportunities on the JOB BOARD. After 6/25 students can visit the South Metro Career Center at 4389 Imperial Ave next to Home Depot in the Imperial Street Marketplace. Once inside they should go to the information desk and ask to see the Job Board.

Work permits issued during summer break will expire on September 9, 2008. For additional information on summer work permits please go to: http://www.sandi.net/career/summer_work_permits.pdf
