Stadium Naming Committee Meets
By Ray Adair • Oct 29th, 2008 • Category: Lead StoryThe first official meeting of the Lincoln High Naming Committee was held on Thursday, Oct. 23rd. There were committee members selected and some vacancies still exist. After members were selected, those in attendance were able to give input regarding what they would like to have the field named. The unanimous input was Vic Player. A second and possibly final meeting will be held on Thursday, Nov. 13th at 6pm at Lincoln to allow any additional community input. The public is invited to attend. The committee recommendation will be forwarded to the school board after the November meeting for their review and approval. It is possible that the issue will be voted on by school board members in January.
