A.P. Studio Art
If you are interested in taking AP Studio Art next year, please come to an
informational meeting on Thursday, May 27th in Room 532 at 2:40. You must have
taken a high school art class or have a portfolio of work to show Mr. Moller.
Journalism Applications
Do you want to have a career in journalism – do you see yourself on T.V. or working for a newspaper or magazine in your future? If so, then the journalism class is for you! Journalism Applications are still being accepted. You can pick one up in the A.S.B room during lunch and the central office. Applications have been extended to June 4th.
Senior Announcements – Jostens
Senior Announcements have arrived. If you have a balance – it must be paid off by cash or money order – no checks! If you have a zero balance – come pick yours up a.s.a.p. in the financial office with Ms. Renaud
A.S.B. Elections Results
Congratulations to Jeanniffer Prieto – she is your new Class of 2012 President. If you are part of the new A.S.B. for next year – please make sure to sign up for the A.S.B. Banquet with Ms. Renaud a.s.a.p. You should have received a letter today for the banquet.
A.S.B. Banquet – June 3rd – Not too late to sign up
Teachers – please sign up for the banquet a.s.a.p. Forms have been emailed and placed in your box – if you need a new one – please contact Mr. Camacho. The event is scheduled for June 3, at 6:00 at the Hall of Champions. Every staff member that attends will receive a limited edition small gift.

City College Career Boot Camp (June 28 – July 2)
Students are responsible for their own transportation to City College during the program.
It is from 9 am – 12:30 pm time commitment with the exception of the last – where you will go on a Disneyland Fieldtrip! There is NO COST! Highlighted careers: Radio & Television, Fitness, Biotechnology, and Nursing. Go to the career center for an application.
UCSD Summer Leadership Institute (July 15-17, 2010)
Is a 3-day residential retreat with overnight accommodations in college dorms… meals included! Students are responsible for transportation to and from UCSD. This is an opportunity to work with and get to know other Lincoln and Morse students … step out of your comfort zone! Includes an engaging and active curriculum to further develop the student’s leadership skills. There is NO COST! Go to the career center for an application.
Senior Info:
Cap and Gown- Jostens is still taking orders for Cap and Gowns. The Cap and Gown Unit is now $42 and may go up in price as we approach Graduation. Students must fill out the Order Form and mail it directly to Jostens. All the information is on the Late Order
Gradnite- Tickets for Gradnite will go on sale on Monday, May 24th for $85. There are approximately 150 tickets available for purchase. Senior package holders must also turn in a permission slip to attend!
Congratulations to the Lincoln High School Choir
They received the highest rating of GOLD at the Heritage Choral Festival that was held in the LHS Theatre on April 30 and May 1. Other choirs that performed were from Canada, New Mexico, Nevada, Arizona and other cities throughout California. Lincoln High senior, Ellarese Harvey was awarded the Maestro Trophy for being the Most Outstanding Soloist at the festival. We are extremely proud of the following choir members : C’erra Bell, Eduardo Amaya, Jazmine Sanchez, Ashley Boswell, Royal Dee, Emmeko Miles, Tatiana Butler, Marissa Sanchez, Nicholous Hickerson, Ellarese Harvey, Natashe Cobb, Dorette Evans, Kijontray McClay, Jeanne Iheke, Tatiana Crosby, Unique Cunningham, Miracle Miller, Dorema Randle, De’Ja’ne’ Bruce, Earlandra Martin, Bri’Aja Lloyd, Alicia Quihuis and Victoria Johnson.

Circle of Friends
Reminder, Circle of Friends meets every Wednesday in Room 447 in Science and Engineering. Your school lunch will be waiting. Interested members, come and make new friends, help include persons with disabilities on our campus, and earn community service hours. See you tomorrow!
