The regularly scheduled meeting of the SSC for Wednesday, January 11 has been postponed one week to January 18. We will meet in room 148 at 5:30pm.

Establishing a Middle School for Lincoln

You are cordially invited to the second meeting to discuss establishing a middle school in the Lincoln Cluster community. With the Board approval of a Community Based Reform model, it is important to discuss the lack of a middle school in this community for children to articulate from the elementary school to a middle school and then to Lincoln High School. Please plan to attend this meeting to hear about several proposals of establishing a middle school in the Lincoln Cluster. This community task force will select the proposal to submit to the Board of Education for approval. We need your valuable input to determine the best way to service Lincoln’s residential middle school students.

SSC Elections at Open House

Elections for Lincoln’s School Site Council (SSC) will be held at Open House September 21, 2010. The first SSC meeting will be September 29 at 4:30 in room 148.

Lincoln’s School Site Council is responsible for developing the Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) for Lincoln, allocating categorical funds to support that plan and monitoring our progress toward the plan’s goals. The SSC is composed of representative members of school staff, teachers, administrators, students, parents and community members.
