The Center for Social Justice provides students with a unique opportunity to collaborate with teachers and the community to facilitate a successful transition to high school. All Social Justice students participate in rigorous, college preparatory academic courses which are designed to extend critical thinking beyond the standards-based curriculum. In addition to a specifically designed courses, teachers will infuse issues of Social Justice (i.e., equity, the legal system, diversity, advocacy, student empowerment, activism, etc.) throughout the general education program.
