Come support Lincoln High’s Crew compete this Saturday, May 8th at 12:00 in Lincoln’s New Gym in their bid to win $1,000 at the San Diego County High School’s Best Dance Crew Competition hosted by Lincoln ASB. Special Guest performance from Poreotix – winners from America’s Best Dance Crew – Season 5. Tickets are $10 presale and $15 at the door. Show starts at 12:00 p.m. in the New Gym. You can buy tickets in the ASB room (146) at lunch and after-school unitl 3:30. Part of the proceeds will go toward the Monique Palmer Scholarship Fund.

Grease is the Word!

The play Grease will be performed in the main theater at the Lincoln High School Performing Arts Center. The play stage and directed by Donald Robinson, looks at high school life in the 1950s. Vocal and Instrumental direction will be done by Sharletta Richardson and Debra Nevin. Daniel Marshall choreographs the production and posters and set painting are being done by Chris Mutter and Sam Bonnaci. The play production dates and times are December 10, 11, 17, 18, 2009 at 7 p.m. Ticket prices are$10.00 and $12.00 for loge and orchestra seating. The dance will take place this Saturday at Park Manor Hotel on Spruce Street on February 28th from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. Thursday, February 26th, is the last day to purchase tickets. Dance Contracts are available in the A.S.B. room and central office. Mr. & Miss Lincoln will be selected from the top 6 seniors, with everyone voting at the dance. Dance tickets may be purchased in the financial office during lunch. Prices range from $25 to $40, depending on date of purchase and A.S.B. card, so buy early! All students must have a current I.D. to purchase a ticket. This event is Semi-Formal – No JEANS will be allowed!
