Healthy Children Learn Better

Students, parents, family members and community members are welcome to stop by our Wellness Center for a tour or to discuss any concerns or questions. The goal of the Wellness Center is to help students at Lincoln High School experience optimal health. The Wellness Center at Lincoln High School is open 5 days a week when school is in session. The office is located in the Administrative wing of the school in Room 136. Questions or concerns about student health issues can be directed to the Lincoln High School Nurse at 619.266.6502

ROLE OF THE SCHOOL NURSE: The academic success of students requires good health. School nursing is a specialized practice of professional nursing that advances the well-being, academic success, and life-long achievement of students. The school nurse supports and promotes academic success by intervening with actual and potential health problems; providing case management services; promoting health and safety; and collaborating with others to build student and family capacity for adaptation, self management, self advocacy, and lifelong learning.
