UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA SAN DIEGO (UCSD)
• Advise LHS Youth Health Council
• School of Medicine (SOM) PRIME students provide health curriculum in several classrooms and promote health careers.
• Fieldtrips: NSMA exploring and planning health career day at UCSD, DOC-4-A-Day
• Telemedicine Program – Athletics Medical Intern and Sports Medicine Program (in planning stages).

ADVISORY GROUPS

LHS YOUTH WELLNESS COUNCIL
• Gather, evaluate and utilize school health data to advocate for additional services
• Liaison to students
• Peer-to-Peer Mentors
• Promote health education in support of the mission of the Wellness Center
• Represent the youth voice as members of the San Diego Unified School District Coordinated School Health Council

HEALTH COLLABORATIVE
• Health professionals meet on a quarterly basis with nurse and executive principal to brainstorm and provide input on current health issues and challenges faced by Lincoln’s student population.
• Health professionals network and seek resources to support programs in the Wellness Center.
