Youth Wellness Council
The Mission of the LHS Youth Wellness Council (LHSYWC) is to empower LHS students to become advocates for health and wellness at school and in the community.
Areas of importance include healthy living/lifestyles, physical and mental well-being, and youth and social service planning. Membership on the Youth Wellness Council gives students an opportunity to provide community service (and earn community service hours) by working to identify and address the health and wellness needs of the school and surrounding community, explore health careers, and develop and utilize leadership skills.
